New VNW™ Transducers
Measure Narrow Web Process Tension

The new VNW™ tension transducers from Dover Flexo Electronics, Inc. (DFE) are a line of compact, value-priced, tension-sensing devices for measuring ribbon or narrow web tension on label presses and other cantilevered-roll web machinery.

The VNW™ is offered in a variety of mounting styles and with a range of optional roller or pulley widths. Shafts with pulleys for webs up to 10 inches (25cm) wide will work with the VNW™.

· Shafts and rollers from DFE are optional and removeable (locked in place with set screws), so customers may substitute their own shafts and rollers (or pulleys).
· The shaft position in the cross-machine direction is adjustable by 1/2 inch so the pulley may be pre-aligned easily with the moving substrate.
· The VNW is value-priced versus comparable tension transducers on the market.
