Measure Tension on Narrow Web
Presses
DFE has released a new line
of narrow web tension transducers that can measure light to heavy running
tension on web widths from six inches to twenty inches on printing presses and
converting machinery.

The WebHandler 3 controller is now available in an easy-to-install panel mount version for customers wishing to have the operator touchpad interface flush with the surface of their control station or panel.
Customers can save 50% of the cost of a new Tension Roll Transducer by sending in existing Tension Roll Transducers for refurbishing service (includes refinishing).

Simplifies Web Tension Measurement by amplifying the millivolt level tension signal from a tension transducer (or pair of shaft end transducers) to an isolated 0-to-10 VDC output for use by a drive, controller or PLC.
Compact amplifier boosts signal from tension transducers to output a stable, isolated 0-to-10 VDC tension signal for display and drive, PLC or other controller. Setup is now more convenient than ever. Device uses Quik-Cal push-button digital calibration technology. Laborious 'zero' and 'calibration' potentiometer adjustments are eliminated to simplify and speed setup.
