Dover Flexo Electronics pneumatic brakes and disk brakes are an integral part of a high-performance tension control unwind package. All pneumatic brakes feature a limited travel piston that never scratches the disc, ductile iron disc construction, and expanded disc surface for rapid heat dissipation.

Our asbestos-free friction pads are available in several coefficients of friction. No tools are required to change the friction pads, making brake maintenance quick and "hassle free".

60 Series Dual Disc Pneumatic Brake

 

The 60 Series Dual Disc Brake offers high performance in a torque range from 3 lb-inches up to 1,010 lb-inches.  This brake delivers the precise torque range needed for a particular application by allocating actuation of just the number of cylinders needed, from one up to six.

90 Series Dual Disc Pneumatic Brake

 

The 90 Series Dual Disc Brake offers high performance in a torque range from 14 lb-inches up to 3,000 lb-inches.  As an integral part of a high-performance unwind package, the 90 series brake delivers the appropriate torque level needed for a particular application by allocating actuation of the appropriate number of cylinders, from one up to four.

The 130 Series Dual Disc Brake offers high performance in a torque range from 23 lb-inches up to 9,840 lb-inches.  As an integral part of a high-performance unwind package, the 130 series brake allows you to deliver the appropriate torque level needed for a particular application by allocating actuation of the right number of cylinders, from one up to eight.

1800 Series Dual Disc Pneumatic Brake

 

The 1800 Series Dual Disc Brake offers high performance in a torque range from 33 lb-inches up to 17,990 lb-inches. As an integral part of a high-performance unwind package, the 1800 series brake allows you to deliver the appropriate torque level needed for a particular application by allocating actuation of the right number of cylinders, from one up to ten.

Universal Actuator

Braking force is applied between the two discs on opposing sides of a dual disc brake by DFE's time-proven Universal ActuatorTM. Each actuator is comprised of twin brake cylinders that can be activated independently.

We refer to the actuator as Universal because of its simple interchangeability between dual disc brakes of different sizes.
