DFE pneumatic disc brakes are engineered for long life and built to exacting standards for industrial use. Each tension brake is precision-balanced and assembled by hand to minimize runout and ensure ultra-smooth torque engagement. Pneumatic actuators are milled from marine-grade aluminum. Cast iron discs are heat cycled and stress relieved prior to machining. Friction pads can be changed without tools.
